The following information for parents will ensure a successful year at “Wee” Havens
The school is unable to accept responsibility for transporting students.
Enrollment in “Wee” Havens is open to all children regardless of race, religion or national origin. Students are accepted on a first come first serve basis without exception. A health form is required to be filled out by your physician as to the immunizations required by the state. This is to be given to us on the first day of school or can be mailed to the address above during the summer. Your child must be 3 years old by December 1 and potty trained.
The school cannot deduct for any absences and must assume enrollment is for the full term. Please notify the Director if your child will be absent for an extended period or withdrawn from school.
If the North Tonawanda schools are closed due to weather conditions, then “Wee” Havens will also be closed. The local television stations carry a complete listing. If “Wee” Havens is closed for any other reason, parents will be notified personally.
Drop off time is 9:15 for mornings and 12:30 for afternoons (no early drop-offs). The church doors will be open but the preschool doors will be closed until this time to allow the teachers to prepare for the day’s activities.
The pick-up time is 11:45 for morning classes and 3:00 for afternoons. Parents may wait in the vestibule for the children to be dismissed on an individual basis. Parents or guardians are to be the only ones the child will be released to unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
We are asking parents to take turns in bringing snacks for the children, including any items needed to serve them (napkins, cups, etc.). Parent and child can make it a fun project to plan and prepare the snack. Parents will be advised throughout the year of any snack restrictions due to allergies.
